Cult stones. The most mysterious cult stones are cupmarked stones, found almost everywhere in the world. Scientists date these cupmarked stones to be several thousand years old. There are at least about 30 hypotheses regarding why people created cupmarks in stones. It is believed that these stones are linked to ancestor cults, while others think that the cupmarks represent the positions of stars in the sky and that these stones were used as sacrifice sites. Nabe Castle was a 14th-century vassal castle of the Archbishopric of Riga, built in the ancient territory of Metsepole by Lake Lāde. The Limbaži–Turaida road passed by it. To this day, the castle tower has been preserved near the later-built Nabe Manor. More info ››

Limbaži Lielezers is a 4.3 km long, narrow lake, with a 2.3 km long one-way nature trail at its northeastern end. Part of the trail has been built with a wooden boardwalk, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding lake area with dry feet. The wooden boardwalk sometimes leads through a reed maze and occasionally opens up to views of the lake. The swamp, with its bog pools and small lakes, can be viewed both from the observation tower and by taking a walk along the specially designed boardwalk, allowing visitors to experience the peace and tranquility of the area. More info ››

In the 19th century Vidriži manor belonged to baron fon Budbergs family (in many geneartions it was connected with the Russian czar court). The castle of baron Budbergs was built in 1870. and the baron lived there during summers. More info ››

Dziļezers, a private lake located within the "Dziļezers-Riebezers" nature reserve, is one of the deepest in Latvia, with a maximum depth of 32 m.
The Dziļezers-Riebezers Nature Trail is approximately 4.1 km long, private, and leads through a picturesque strip of land between Dziļezers and Riebezers, as well as along the eastern shore of Dziļezers, where a rare ash forest in Latvia, the Crying Giant Stone, and other landscape elements can be viewed. This castle mound is located on the right bank of river Aģe, 2 km up from the railway bridge. The historian A. Bīlenšteins searched for the ancient Metsepole center here, whereas an archeologist believed this castle mound to be a insignificant war-time hideout. More info ››

Vīķi Manor and Park is located on the picturesque banks of the Salaca River. The manor complex was built in 1890. Until 1 November 2009, the building housed a children's psychoneurological hospital. More info ››

The church was built in 1798. Later, its altar was moved to the stone church built in 1859. In 1968, the church was closed and converted into a grain warehouse; the historic altar was transferred to the Rundāle Palace Museum. The Augstroze congregation resumed its activity in 1991.
