The owner of the countryside homestead "Dzirnupes" crafts unique stump drums. The drums are carved from various types of wood – spruce, linden, and river willow. The top of the drum is covered with resonant skins – goat and beaver hides. Zaķi boulder (also Zaķupe boulder) is a geological and geomorphological natural monument in Liepupe parish. The stone is located in the former Zaķu gravel pit, east of the village of Tūja, 150 m north of Zaķupe river. More info ››

The walking trails of Bīriņi Castle lead through and around two estate parks: Priežkalns Park and Mežaparks. Together, they form a large, unified territory of the estate center, which is a rare treasure in Latvia and is passed down to future generations with national protection number 6455. More info ››

The Bīriņi Manor Cemetery was built in 1819 under the guidance of Count Ludwig August Mellin. A hill was used for its construction, with an underground space created and reinforced with a barrel-shaped brick vault. One side of the hill was excavated to create an entrance, which is located between walls made of fieldstones. The aisles and niches were once decorated with lavish oak leaf and flower garlands cast in lime mortar. Currently, the cemetery is owned by the Vidriži Parish of Limbaži Municipality. More info ››

Skulte Manor was founded in the first half of the 16th century. From the 1680s, it became the property of the Schulzen family.
