Ežurga cliffs
The Burtnieki Series sandstone outcrop is up to 3.5 meters high and about 50 meters wide. The outcrop is a beautiful shade of red. In the northern part of the cliff, where the Ežurga River flows into the sea with a waterfall, the cliffs are smooth and approximately 10 meters wide.
This site is best accessed by taking a shorter or longer hike along the coast. In the spring and after heavy rains, two small waterfalls form at the cliffs, which are a few meters high. At the base of the outcrop, the sea has gathered a large number of rounded logs and trunks.
The Ežurga stream cuts through the red cliffs at an angle, carving out a narrow corner of the cliff. To the north, there is a series of several smaller outcrops.
