Monument "Milda"

The memorial is located between Pērnavas and Vilņu streets.
The memorial was built in 1986. It is dedicated to the sailors who did not make it out of the sea and to the Soviet soldiers who died in World War II - it is made up of a mother holding a small child on her shoulders. The memorial was designed by sculptor Leja Novožeņeca and architect Jānis Pētersons.
