“Journey of Lights” in the World of Münchhausen

The Münchhausen Museum invites you to a magical, family-friendly winter adventure, where the familiar Beer Mug Trail transforms into the “Journey of Lights” — illuminated by more than 1,500 candles and filled with the spirit of Christmas. This 2.5-km trail offers a peaceful walk, time for conversations, photos, laughter, and the enchanting feeling of holiday anticipation. The event coincides with the winter solstice — the moment when the light returns and we grow closer to one another.

At the end of the trail — in the old mill/Beer Mug — Santa Claus will be waiting for you, along with the Christmas Post Office (you can write letters on-site), bonfires, winter activities, and seasonal food and drinks from Cafe SaltWater. The trail is suitable for strollers, and if there is snow, a parallel path will be available for sleds. The trail is two-way, so we kindly ask visitors to follow the flow. The latest recommended arrival time is 8:00 PM.
