Dziļezers-Riebezers Nature Trail
Dziļezers, a private lake located within the "Dziļezers-Riebezers" nature reserve, is one of the deepest in Latvia, with a maximum depth of 32 m.
The Dziļezers-Riebezers Nature Trail is approximately 4.1 km long, private, and leads through a picturesque strip of land between Dziļezers and Riebezers, as well as along the eastern shore of Dziļezers, where a rare ash forest in Latvia, the Crying Giant Stone, and other landscape elements can be viewed.
At the southern end of Dziļezers, there is an ancient sacred site to explore. Rest and picnic areas with tents have been created on the land strip between both lakes, as well as at the northeastern end of Dziļezers. The trail is still being supplemented with informational signs, maintained, and renovated. During wetter weather, the land strip between the lakes can flood, connecting the two lakes. Dziļezers is surrounded by ash, coniferous, and mixed forests. Among the well-known trees, one might also spot rarer species, such as the walnut tree.

On the farm, you can see a goat herd and taste goat cheese, goat milk ice cream, and goat meat sausage. Those who eat Virbotnes goat milk cheese become strong and happy.
