Limbaži Lielezers Nature trail
The trail is located near the center of Limbaži and runs along the lake’s shore. It features walking boardwalks, a viewing tower, a well-maintained beach, and a children's playground. Visitors can enjoy boat rides on the lake, fishing, or sunbathing on the sandy beach.
The viewing tower offers bird lovers the opportunity to observe some of the 99 bird species found in the area. An interesting environmental object can also be found on the Lielezers beach – Veiksmes zandarts (Zander with a Silver Scale). Legend has it that if you find and rub it, your wishes may come true! Since 2015, Lielezers beach has been awarded the international environmental eco-certificate "Blue Flag" every year.

At the Limbaži Lielezers beach, you can see the Lucky Pikeperch. Its shape is made of 10,000 nuts, creating an unusual texture. Moreover, it has a silver scale, and it's said that if you rub it, one wish will come true!

Limbaži Lielezers is a 4.3 km long, narrow lake, with a 2.3 km long one-way nature trail at its northeastern end. Part of the trail has been built with a wooden boardwalk, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding lake area with dry feet. The wooden boardwalk sometimes leads through a reed maze and occasionally opens up to views of the lake. At the northern end of the lake, a bird-watching tower has been built, offering a fantastic view of the lake.
