Salacgrīva Promenade

The Salaca promenade was created to protect the right bank of the Salaca river from erosion.
Salacgrīva promenade was opened in May 2014.
 
The construction of the promenade has achieved two things: the strengthening of the right bank of the river and a beautiful place to walk and relax, where you can enjoy the river, the sea and the harbour.
 
In 2016, the " Alley of Fame" was opened on the Salaca promenade.

On 16 July 2016, the " Alley of Fame" was opened on the promenade. The idea was conceived by Dagnis Straubergs. In the alley, you will find 24 bronze palm prints of famous people who have visited our city. read more ››
