The Bīriņi Castle Park
The lakeside of Bīriņi Castle boasts a terraced section of a formal park, which is further complemented by a wonderful manor park with several rare tree species. In the thick trunks and gently drooping branches of the old trees, strength and romance still dwell.
A bit further, beyond the old manor apple orchard, lies the vast Emīlija Park, interwoven with long walking and horseback riding trails. These lead past Spring Hill, Angel Hill, the Augusta ponds, and the Island of Love, all the way to the peat meadows with paths trodden by wild animals and dams built by beavers. From Emīlija Park, walkers can reach Priežkalni Park via the old linden alley, where mysterious and unique early 19th-century crypts can be found.
The total length of walking paths in the Bīriņi Castle parks reaches 5 kilometers.

The dwelling house of the manor house owners, constructed in 1860. The building is surrounded by a romantic and beautiful setting, formed by a facilitated park, lakes and manor house buildings.

The Bīriņi Manor Cemetery was built in 1819 under the guidance of Count Ludwig August Mellin. A hill was used for its construction, with an underground space created and reinforced with a barrel-shaped brick vault. One side of the hill was excavated to create an entrance, which is located between walls made of fieldstones. The aisles and niches were once decorated with lavish oak leaf and flower garlands cast in lime mortar. Currently, the cemetery is owned by the Vidriži Parish of Limbaži Municipality.

The walking trails of Bīriņi Castle lead through and around two estate parks: Priežkalns Park and Mežaparks. Together, they form a large, unified territory of the estate center, which is a rare treasure in Latvia and is passed down to future generations with national protection number 6455.
