The hiking route in the Niedrāju-Pilkas bog allows you to explore the unaltered landscape of the bog with countless lakes, lochs and wells, as well as nerve-wracking and exciting places. The hikes are led by knowledgeable and experienced guides who will take you through the labyrinths of wells and places where it would be much more difficult or even impossible without bog shoes. The exhibition reflects the history of Pāle parish and its surrounding area. This is the only museum in Latvia where information is available about the history of Vidzeme’s Livs.
