In 1767, Skulte was acquired by the Riga superintendent, Martin Andreas von Reisner, and remained in the possession of his descendants until 1870. During this time, the manor and park fell into disrepair due to the high cost of maintaining them. In 1870, the manor was acquired by the Freytag-Loringhofen barons. This family inhabited a new, more modern wooden house built during Reisner's time (1739). It was located between the barn and the stable. Unfortunately, this manor house has not survived to this day, as it was destroyed during World War I. The Skulte Manor ensemble consisted of a barn, stable, grain kiln, cart house, servants’ quarters, and the manager's house. During the Soviet era, the manager's house was converted into a dairy, while other buildings housed mechanical workshops and a sawmill. In 2004, with the co-financing of the EU and the Latvian state, the manager's house was renovated and converted into a historic guesthouse with modern amenities.
The manor grounds include a 7-hectare park with century-old lime, oak, and ash alleys. There is also a small canal with a romantic bridge. The park is home to several monumental trees: an oak with a circumference of 5m, and another oak 20m from the Saulkrasti-Limbazi road with a circumference of 5.60m. Another oak, Kaupiņu oak, stands 70m from the manor to the north, with a circumference of 5.64m.
