Umurga Evangelical Lutheran Church
The Umurga Evangelical Lutheran Church was built in 1496. It is a large and majestic building with 250 seats. The building is a state-protected cultural monument, containing many ancient objects and interior elements. The church is located in the very center of the village of Umurga, but it has its own private garden where guests can enjoy a pleasant stay. The church is known for its excellent organ and its outstanding organist, A. Jurisone (E. Grieg Academy, Norway).
