North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve Nature Centre
At the Nature Centre, visitors have the opportunity to learn theory in an interactive way - through games and laughter - to learn and strengthen their knowledge about specially protected nature areas and our coastline, the Vidzeme Stony Seashore.
Have you ever thought about how much you know about nature and the environment around you? When you're wandering along a path in a meadow or on a beach, or just taking a walk, don't you wonder what it is about the plants that grow around you?
Inta, the Nature Centre Manager of the Northern Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve, will help you answer these questions and learn many new things.
Nature education and research activities about the natural values of the area take place both indoors and outdoors. There are also various thematic events for the general public, which are especially interesting for families with children, as the events are designed to be interesting for both big and small nature friends.
The Nature Centre actively cooperates with schools in the region. This offer is valid for both groups and individual visitors.
Groups of no more than 25-30 people are welcome. For some activities the number of participants may be smaller.
