Traditional Fishermen's Festival
On July 13, 2024, Salacgrīva will host the traditional Fishermen's Festival, which promises to become the biggest, loudest and most colourful festival on the entire coast of the Gulf of Riga.
The event will take place in two parts, with a morning and an evening programme.
The morning programme will take place both in the city centre and at the stadium, offering a wide range of entertainment, cultural and sporting activities. Traders from all three Baltic States will take part in the festivities, offering delicious food and drinks as well as a wide range of handicrafts. As the organisers promise, it will be a great event for the whole family and free to attend.
The afternoon and evening part of the festival, which promises to be particularly powerful, will take place at the Salacgrīva Fishermen's Park Stage (from 5 pm to 4 am the following morning). It will be enriched by the participation of many popular artists and bands that will suit the taste of every visitor: the charming singer Aija Andrejeva, the audience favourite "Bermudu Divstūris", Latvian rock legends "Credo", who will perform in Salacgrīva as part of their 50th anniversary tour, the band "Pērkons", the popular dance music band "Tranzīts" (as part of their anniversary tour "Back to the Future"). In between the performances, the energetic DJ Mareks Našenieks will take care of the audience's well-being.
There will also be several bars and cafés open for food and refreshments during the event.

Tickets should be purchased in advance as the price will increase as the event approaches. The first 300 tickets will be available at a special price.
